Ocaña to Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas transfer

The journey

The transfer from Ocaña (Toledo) to Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas covers around 75.1 kilometres and takes about 49 minutes. We collect you at the address you give us and drop you exactly at your destination, with no changes and no waiting.

Leaving from Mesa de Ocaña

The Mesa de Ocaña is where the A-4 meets the AP-36 and the R-4, right next to Aranjuez. It is a crossroads towards Andalusia and the east coast, with farming and haulage businesses, and its nearest commuter-rail station is Aranjuez, just over the Madrid border.

Which way it goes

From Ocaña the way to Madrid is the A-4 through Aranjuez and Valdemoro, or the R-4 toll road, which avoids the southern entry jams. The A-4 stretch between Pinto and the M-40 is the one that adds most time at rush hour.

Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, seen from Toledo

There is no direct train from Toledo province to Barajas: you have to change in Madrid, and in the early hours there is no way to do it. For first-thing flights, a car from home is the only option that does not involve sleeping in Madrid.

When demand peaks

• Long weekends and holidays (Easter, summer and Christmas): Transfers to Barajas from La Sagra and Toledo spike at the start and end of holidays, and first-thing flights are the first to fill up.

Tip: From La Sagra, for flights before nine, pickup is usually between five and six: the A-42 starts filling up early.

Airport pickup

For arrivals, the driver waits in the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track the flight number, so a delay costs nothing extra within the terminal’s complimentary waiting time.

For early flights

We recommend leaving Ocaña at least 94 minutes before you want to be at the check-in desk. We operate through the night, always with an advance booking.

What the price includes

• Door-to-door pickup and help with luggage.
• Complimentary waiting and flight or train tracking.
• Child restraint systems if you need them.
• The 10 % Spanish VAT on passenger transport.

Tolls and parking, where the route requires them, are itemised in the quote and charged to the customer, with one exception: for airport destinations, if traffic calls for it, the route along the radial toll motorways is included at no cost provided there are at least 3 hours between pickup and the flight's departure. With less margin, that toll is itemised in the quote like any other. There are no hidden charges and no surge pricing.
